Upgrade Includes Five Glass Cockpit Displays Universal Avionics’ InSight Flight Display System has received Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) approval for the De Havilland Canada CL-415 amphibious firefighting aircraft. The certification, issued by Transport Canada Civil Aviation, enables operators to retrofit existing CL-415 fleets with a modern digital flight deck, replacing aging legacy instrumentation. The upgrade includes five glass cockpit displays, dual touchscreen controllers, dual flight management systems, and integrated voice and flight data recorders. The system also supports digital communications and data services through onboard and cloud-connected systems.
