McFarlane Partners With Hutch To Expand Structural Repairs McFarlane Aviation is partnering with Hutch Aviation to bring Cessna and Piper service kits to a larger market. Hutch Aviation’s line of Cessna forward doorpost reinforcement service kits and associated service-kit components will now be offered through McFarlane. These Alternative Method of Compliance (AMOC) service kits address known fatigue and cracking issues in the forward doorpost area, the important structural region where the wing strut attaches to many strut-braced Cessna models. This area has been the focus of FAA AD 2020-18-01, mandating inspection and repair due to decades of stress and structural degradation.
