A King Air KA-350ER Is Being Added To Company’s Youngstown Campus Fleet The Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics’ Youngstown Campus has officially welcomed a King Air KA-350ER to its training fleet. The aircraft, formerly operated by the U.S. Air Force as part of the MC-12W Liberty program, will now serve a new mission — helping train the next generation of aviation maintenance technicians. The company said for students, this means even more hands-on experience working on a real-world turbine aircraft platform widely used throughout the aviation industry. Along with the aircraft, the campus also received a PT-6A engine, giving students valuable exposure to one of the industry’s most recognized turboprop engines.
