Louisiana State Police Are Reminding Drone Pilots About TFR Louisiana State Police are reminding drone pilots that the Federal Aviation Administration has issued a Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), aka drones, in the New Orleans area, beginning at 5:00 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13th until 2:00 a.m., and from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Also Monday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m., and finally Tuesday, Feb. 17th, Mardi Gras, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. No recreational drones are allowed during these times.
