Drones Sighted Over Field During Baseball Game Led To FAA Warning About Airspace Rules Drones flying over the Colorado Rockies-Philadelphia Phillies home opening stand in early April has led the FBI, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Denver Police Department to remind everyone of the rules limiting drone use around Coors Field during game days. During the Rockies first homestand of the season, more than half a dozen drone operators were identified as being in violation of one or more federal regulations. No one was arrested during the games at Coors Field April 3 to April 5, but it is possible the drone pilots could still face a fine later. These violators are referred to the FAA for investigation.
