Company Will Offer Affordable Option To Comprehensive Avionics Choices The company says the lightweight cockpit-display system of the Guardian Avionics Suite features a high-definition 3D synthetic vision paired with a suite of display information. The display provides information on obstacles, buildings, flight environment, traffic, weather, terrain, real-world imagery, and more. The suite will be available in single- or double-screen format of 11.6-inch and/or 7-inch full HD sunlight-readable edge-to-edge glass touchscreen displays with integrated tactile controls as well. The Guardian avionics NEST, the system’s lightweight core, houses each of the system’s individual functions and integrates with Nighthawk’s custom user-defined cockpit displays as well as existing aircraft systems, including Garmin and Avidyne GPS navigators. The NEST allows individual capabilities to be added or upgraded as desired, eliminating the requirement to replace an entire system to gain increased capability.
