Contract For $3 million To Aviation Company Specializing In Unmanned Aircraft The Kansas Department of Agriculture (KDA) has awarded $3 million to Kelly Hills Unmanned Systems in Seneca, Kan., to develop beyond-visual-line-of-sight unmanned aerial systems technology for agricultural use. “Through investments into cutting-edge precision agriculture technology, we are giving Kansas farmers and ranchers a leg up,” said Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly. “Kansas’ vast cropland and grassland acreage, as well as our diversified agriculture industry, make us the ideal location for these developments.” The Kansas Legislature approved the funding during the 2025 legislative session to help push the development of agricultural and aviation technology in Kansas.
