NBAA Marks Passing Of General Aviation Industry Standard-Bearer John J. Sheehan III, 85, a decorated United States naval aviator, aviation safety consultant, and author whose career spanned more than four decades of service to his country and to the field of aviation, died peacefully at home in Wilmington, N.C. on March 20. The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) has paid tribute to the legacy of Sheehan. A frequent presenter at NBAA events, Sheehan was the author of the book Business and Corporate Aviation Management, published by McGraw-Hill, which serves today as an authoritative reference guide for professional flight departments worldwide.
