Senate Bill 422 Addresses a Growing Frustration in General Aviation: Landing Fees Florida legislators are finally cutting the general aviation community a little slack, with the state’s House of Representatives voting 108 to 2 in favor of a bill that would block airports from using Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) tracking data to issue landing fees or other fines. This has been a startlingly popular trend over the last few years since national ADS-B mandates took effect.
