Fractional Private Jet Operator Will Add About 50 New Aircraft To Fleet Flexjet CEO Mike Silvestro said the company recently placed the order for new private jets, but neither company has formally announced the order.It follows last year’s $7 billion order by Flexjet with Embraer. After buying Flexjet from Bombardier in 2012, Chairman Kenn Ricci moved its long-range fleet to Gulfstream aircraft. A Flexjet spokesperson said previously, speaking to Forbes about the trend towards faster jets that fly further, said, “Additional Gulfstream G700s are scheduled to arrive this year along with a new fleet type to be revealed in the coming weeks.”
