NFTA Comprehensive Modernization Of Pilot Training Conducted By 14 CFR Part 141 Training Organizations The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) released its 471-page report, “A Comprehensive Modernization of Pilot Training Conducted by 14 CFR Part 141 Training Organizations” on April 1, 2026, with the agency only accepting comments on the report through Friday, April 10. The report, dated March 31, was presented to the FAA by the National Flight Training Alliance (NFTA) along with industry representatives and partners. “It reflects data, input, and perspectives provided by the flighttraining industry in public meetings conducted from March 2025 through March 2026. The analysis, organization, and publication of the report has been completed by the National Flight Training Alliance (NFTA) along with industry subject matter experts,” the report says.
