Updated Rerouting Of Commercial Flights The FAA has ordered a change in Palm Beach International Airport flight paths to move planes away from some West Palm Beach homes. Commercial flights out of PBIA will now fly north of Southern Boulevard. Flight restrictions requested by the Secret Service to support presidential security since Oct. 20 have gone over neighborhoods both north of President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach and south of downtown West Palm Beach after the FAA, without warning, barred flights within 1 mile of the “Winter White House.” The FAA has never explained why it imposed a 24/7 no-fly zone over Mar-a-Lago, which is in effect through October 2026 even when Trump is away from Palm Beach.
