Airbus Delivered The First Aircraft To Eventually Replace Boeing 777-300ERs EgyptAir has taken delivery of the first of 16 Airbus A350-900s on order to support the airline’s long-haul fleet modernization and network expansion with new nonstop routes to the U.S. West Coast and North Asia, from its Cairo hub. EgyptAir currently operates an Airbus fleet of eight A320neos, seven A321neos and 11 A330 Family aircraft, including five A330-200P2F. The Egyptian flag-carrier signed for 10 of the A350-900s at the Dubai air show in 2023, and followed up with an agreement for six more last year.
