Learn About Decision-Making For Safe Flight Operations An EAA webinar presentation on Wednesday, April 8, will explore how cognitive biases influence pilot decision-making in general aviation. Using real-world scenarios and accident case studies, Ken Solosky, a helicopter- and airplane-rated certified flight instructor, will explain how experienced pilots can still fall into predictable thinking traps. Additionally, he will offer practical cockpit strategies to recognize and counter these biases before they lead to errors. Solosky also served as the chief pilot for the New York City Police Department Aviation unit during the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center buildings.
