Expands National Fleet To More Than 500 Aircraft Textron announced that the Civil Air Patrol ordered an additional 15 Cessna piston-engine aircraft, bolstering its nationwide mission capabilities. The order is for seven Cessna 172 Skyhawks and eight 182 Skylane models, which are scheduled for delivery during 2026. The CAP continues to be the world’s largest operator of Cessna aircraft.
