Company Developing Flight Control System Raises $300 Million In Series C Funding Skyryse based in El Segundo, California, has raised an additional $300 million to help support the company’s ongoing Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification process for its SkyOS flight control system. The latest funding round was led by Autopilot Ventures and provides millions more for the startup as it nears the end of a lengthy FAA certification process for its flight control system. The capital will also be used to integrate its operating system, known as SkyOS, across numerous aircraft, including U.S. military Black Hawk helicopters.
