Company Narrows Losses, Posts Widest Gain Over European Rival Boeing’s first-quarter revenues exceeded those of Airbus, and the company said the results primarily reflect higher commercial delivery volume, improved operational performance, and favorable order timing. Total company backlog grew to a record $695 billion with all three segments remaining at record levels. Boeing delivered 143 commercial aircraft in Q1 2026 while Airbus delivered 114 aircraft in the same period. It’s the first quarter that Boeing has shipped more planes than its European rival going back to 2018 or 2019.
