Previously Undisclosed Order From 2025 Air Canada has a firm order for eight Airbus A350-1000 aircraft, marking an upgrade to the airline’s long-haul fleet strategy. The A350-1000’s economics and lower operating costs will deliver an advantage to Air Canada plans for international expansion. The aircraft have a range of up to 9,000 nautical miles, allowing nonstop service from Canada to high-growth markets across the Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia, and Australia. Designed for ultra-long-haul comfort, the aircraft features the Airspace cabin. Passengers benefit from lower cabin altitude and noise levels on long flights.
