Operating License Was Suspended In December Air Antilles, the regional French airline serving the Caribbean islands, has officially filed for bankruptcy protection in court in Guadeloupe. The airline’s operations were shut down after its Airline Operator Certificate and Air Transport License were suspended in early December 2025. This period was the middle of the high season for the airline, costing revenue. In an internal letter to employees dated Friday, Jan.16, 2026, Louis Mussington, chairman of Air Antilles’ board of directors, announced the bankruptcy filing.
