Tow Vehicle Driver Hit Passenger-Boarding Bridge A Delta Airlines worker is dead after a vehicle crashed into a jet bridge on the tarmac at Orlando International Airport. The worker died when a ground service tug aircraft-towing vehicle driver hit a passenger-boarding bridge connected to Delta Flight 2593 around 10:55 p.m. Thursday, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said. Delta issued a statement saying, “The Delta family is heartbroken at the loss of a team member while on the job at Orlando International Airport on the evening of May 7. We are focused on extending our full support to family and taking care of our Orlando team during this difficult time. We are working with local authorities as a full investigation gets underway to determine what occurred.”
