This Could Be Just the Beginning of Cuts to its Airbus A321XLR Order… American Airlines has made a relatively small shift in one of its outstanding aircraft orders… but it’s one that says a lot about its future fleet strategy. The carrier trimmed its order for the Airbus A321XLR by around 20-percent while raising more than $1 billion in aircraft-backed bonds to fund new deliveries and refinance existing jets.
