First Hiring Window Opened On Thursday For New Applicants The FAA reportedly received more than 8,000 applications, and roughly 7,250 of those met basic qualifications, though they would still need to go through a rigorous assessment process, according to U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy.
