No Injuries Reported In Emergency Landing As Plane Hits Fire Hydrant No one was injured when a plane with three people on board landed at the intersection of 7th Street and Missouri in central Phoenix Monday morning, according to the Phoenix Fire Department. The plane hit a fire hydrant, which had to be shut off. “Luckily, everyone walked away from this and no one was severely hurt,” said Phoenix Fire Department spokesperson Capt. DJ Lee. “Knowing how busy 7th Street is and how busy this area is— for him to not hit anything else. To me that’s a miracle of itself.” A tow truck or larger vehicle will attempt to remove the plane from the road, Lee said.
