Governor DeSantis Signs Bill to Rename PBI to Donald J. Trump International Airport The Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) title is officially being replaced with a highly recognizable, highly controversial alternative: Donald J. Trump International Airport. Governor Ron DeSantis signed House Bill 919 on March 30 to send the new name to the FAA for final approval. If all goes over well, the change takes effect July 1.
