Flight Attendants Will Receive Higher Pay, Signing Bonuses And More If Agreement Is Ratified United Airlines (UAL) struck an important tentative agreement with the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA Thursday. It still must be ratified by flight attendants. The union did not provide full details about the deal but said it includes higher base pay, additional compensation for flight disruptions, new restrictions on overnight flight assignments, and other improvements for the 30,000 flight attendants who work for United. The new agreement includes immediate raises upon ratification and top wage rates that reach $100 per hour by the end of the agreement, making United flight attendants the best-paid in the industry.
