Falcon Field to Charge $20 Per Landing, Risking Flight School and GA Sustainability Mesa’s City Council has voted unanimously to move forward with a $20 per-landing fee at Falcon Field (KFFZ), drawing immediate outrage from the flight schools and instructors who will feel the effects up close and personal. To make matters worse, the charges are to be issued using one of the most controversial systems in aviation: ADS-B-based billing.
