Company Made Major Upgrades To Connectivity, Certification And Avionics Integration Diamond Aircraft’s DA62 MPP special missions’ aircraft upgrades will help across airborne intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) for law enforcement, environmental monitoring, and maritime surveillance operators worldwide. The company says Starlink Mini connectivity was demonstrated through extensive flight trials: Over a six-month period, Diamond conducted Starlink Mini test flights across Europe and parts of North Africa. The trials validated stable, high-bandwidth airborne connectivity. These results confirm the DA62 MPP’s ability to support real-time sensor data streaming, VOIP communication, mission-system synchronization, and cloud-based workflows, laying the groundwork for next-generation beyond-line-of-sight capabilities at a much lower cost compared to conventional systems.
