Ride Opportunities Ahead of Sioux Falls Air Show The B-29 DOC, one of only two Boeing B-29 Superfortress bombers still airworthy and flying, will stop during July at Sioux Falls, S.D.The tour stop will feature ride flight opportunities for two days before the Sioux Falls Air Show, scheduled for July 18-19. Ground and cockpit tours for the public will not be available while DOC is at Sioux Falls Regional Airport. Instead, DOC’s presence before the Sioux Falls Airshow will help promote and raise air-show awareness, while giving people a unique opportunity to fly in the historic World War II-era bomber. The B-29 DOC will arrive in Sioux Falls on Monday, July 13, and will be available for ride flights July 14 and 15 before it departs for its next tour stop in Minnesota.
