Group’s First 777-9 Delivered To Frankfurt, Ready For Training In May Lufthansa Aviation Training has taken delivery of the first Boeing 777-9 full-flight simulator ever delivered to an airline group as the simulator arrived in a wooden crate from CAE’s manufacturing factory in Montréal at the Lufthansa Training Center in Frankfurt. Assembly and installation work at the site will now commence, with “Ready for Training” for Lufthansa Airlines scheduled for the end of May 2026. Configured to match Lufthansa’s first future aircraft, the new Boeing 777-9 full-flight simulator sets benchmarks in pilot training.
