US DOT Working to Create the “Best Air Traffic Control System in the World” Controllers in the tower at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport are officially putting down their paper strips and trading them for some much-needed digital versions, coming as one step in the Department of Transportation’s push to build the “best air traffic control system in the world.”
