Part 141 School Will Accept Private Pilots To Join Instrument Rating Phase Of Training A Florida airline academy is now accepting students who hold a FAA Private Pilot Certificate (PPL) onto its FAA Part 141 program, allowing them to join training at the instrument rating stage. Skyborne Airline Academy in Vero Beach, Florida, says students holding a private pilot license can join the flight academy and will no longer be required to retake the license upon enrollment and will be credited for their previously obtained private pilot license, paying a reduced program fee.
