Pilots Negotiating For Collective Bargaining Contract Since 2024 Jet Blue pilots are urging management to complete contract negotiations as Jet Blue Airways Corp. on Tuesday reported a loss of $177 million in its fourth quarter. The weak performance of the airline shows the continuing financial challenges it faces as it remains unprofitable. It is cutting unprofitable routes, reducing off-peak flying, and streamlining leadership. “JetBlue pilots are the reliable backbone of this airline. As professional airline pilots, our commitment-to our craft, our passengers, and the long-term viability of JetBlue-has been consistent and unwavering,” said Capt. Wayne Scales, chairman of the JetBlue pilots’ Master Executive Council.
