Second Phase of Expansion Approved The 75-acre second phase expansion of the Inverness Airport Business Park in Florida has cleared regulatory hurdles to allow expanded aviation and industrial activity.”The contractor has been awarded,” Aviation Division Project Manager Todd Regan told the Citrus County Aviation Advisory Board. “We’re tentatively planning a pre-construction meeting in late January, early February, and hopefully we start pushing dirt shortly after.” While construction is under contract there are final environmental checks, including a gopher tortoise survey, required before site work begins.
