System Will Track Performance and Merit The FAA has posted a notice that it plans to enhance its oversight of designated pilot examiners (DPEs) by deploying a survey system to track the performance and merit of examiners. Congress mandated in the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2024 that the agency enhance its oversight of designated pilot examiners. The FAA is wanting to “deploy a survey system to track the performance and merit of such examiners.”
